Surviving Spouse Counseling/Planning
When a pension belongs to only one member of a couple, it is important to plan for the death of the breadwinner. It is common for a surviving spouse to be left in a state of confusion if his/her spouse handled the family finances. The survivor often does not know what to do, thus serious and costly mistakes become more likely. The advisers at Colorado Retirement Resources offer counseling to surviving spouses to help them through the maize of financial and legal decisions with which they are often faced. And, our planning services can provide potential solutions to help couples ensure a surviving spouse will have adequate income to meet the financial requirements of daily living.
